A new luxury hotel is opening in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, that’s perfectly suited to those looking to immerse themselves in the Northwest’s peaceful tranquility, Hotel Yellowstone is for adults only. On August 1, Hotel Yellowstone at Jackson Hole will celebrate its grand opening, bringing child-free accommodation to the area for the first time. This impressive hotel is positioned proudly atop the East Gros Ventre Butte, providing unobstructed views of the vast Teton Mountain Range and Snake River Valley.
While surrounded by the jaw-dropping expanse of this corner of the United States, Hotel Yellowstone is actually a rather intimate affair. Comprised of only 36 suites, this new spot looks likely to bring a boutique feel to Jackson Hole. Spread out, and positioned in clusters across Hotel Yellowstone’s four acres, these suites will provide visitors with their own haven amongst the wilderness. Each suite possesses a balcony, ensuring visitors can experience the local wildlife – like moose and mule deer – from the comfort of their own abode.
Of course, the majesty of this area is the impressive sights that sit just a short drive away, but Hotel Yellowstone still has a few tricks up its sleeve. The heated indoor pool and spa only add to the relaxing presence of the region. While, Olivia’s Restaurant and Bar highlights the area’s produce by utilizing organic, locally sourced ingredients to create a menu that’s inspired by the surroundings.
“With a deep appreciation for Jackson Hole and the beauty the destination lends, we are thrilled to open this one-of-a-kind hotel tailored to showcasing Jackson Hole’s innate sense of refined elegance and natural appeal,” said owner Jerry Johnson. “Hotel Yellowstone was a labor of love, my team and I meticulously ideated, curated and constructed the hotel to be the pinnacle of luxury. Now, we look forward to introducing Hotel Yellowstone to the world and providing our guests authentic, exclusive experiences coupled with a warm, dedicated staff and exceptional amenities.”
Leaning into its sense of place, the hotel features a design aesthetic that exudes the American West yet includes a few modern touches, mixing sheepskin rugs, fireplaces and restoration hardware furnishings with Calacatta marble bathrooms and large soaking tubs. The suites are all of an impressive size, providing 600 sq ft of both indoor and outdoor space. Selecting from the four styles, Reflection Suites, Vista Suites, Grand Teton Suites and Grand Reflection Suites, guests essentially get to select which impressive view they want from their balcony.

The hotel’s positioning means it’s just five miles from the historic Jackson Town Square and around 60 miles from Yellowstone National Park, around an hour and a half drive across the picturesque country.
Officially the world’s first National Park since March 1, 1872, Yellowstone has been drawing visitors ever since, its 2.2 million acres are dense with wildlife and lay home to around half of the world’s active geysers. To celebrate its opening, Hotel Yellowstone has devised the Serenity in the Wild Package, which combines one of the hotel’s suites with a customizable tour of the park from local operator Backcountry Safaris. The tour will take visitors from the hotel, stopping for breakfast at Oxbow Bend in Grand Teton National Park, before heading to Yellowstone and covering all the major spots like Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and Grand Prismatic Spring.
Those looking to experience the majesty of Wyoming, in the peace and serenity of adults-only accommodation, can now seek out Hotel Yellowstone, for a dose of luxury amongst nature.
