These Luxury NYC Suites Come with a Free Helicopter Transfer

New York is always a good idea – well until you land at JFK and that daunting Manhatten commute threatens to add hours onto already heavy travel plans. Well, that issue has flown off into the sunset, thanks to the luxury helicopter service Blade Urban Air Mobility, Inc. While Blade‘s helicopters have been ferrying NYC’s elite to and from the island in as little as five minutes for more than a decade, its new partnership with Marriott’s Luxury Group will see guests seamlessly transported from the skies and directly into their suite.

Summer vacationers staying for two nights or more in selected suites at one of the Luxury Group’s NYC properties – which include The St. Regis New York; JW Marriott Essex House New York; W New York – Union Square; The New York EDITION; The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad; and The Luxury Collection Hotel Manhattan Midtown – will be eligible for Blade’s helicopter experience. The exclusive package is available between July 1 through September 2, 2024, promising the most stylish and seamless roundtrip airport transfer from JFK or Newark Airport.

“Spanning the Luxury Group’s portfolio of brands, this collaboration with Blade advances our mission to provide guests with exceptional service and amenities through innovation and imagination,” said Marriott International’s global head of luxury marketing, George Hammer. “As summer travel season can be especially hectic, we’re excited to introduce this bespoke partnership that will streamline and enhance our guests’ journeys before even setting foot in our suites.”

After whizzing through the city with front-row seats to those legendary Big Apple cityscapes, guests will arrive at either Blade Lounge East on East 34th Street or the newly renovated Blade Lounge West on West 30th Street, where a luxury car will be ready to chauffeur guests for the last stretch of their journey.

Both the lounges have been transformed in celebration of the collaboration, debuting seasonal pop-ups and multi-sensory experiences to bring together the brands from Blade and Marriott. Inspired by the amenities found in the Luxury Group properties, visitors can sniff signature La Labo scents from EDITION hotels, listen to curated playlists from W Hotels, and sample summer menus inspired by the destinations of the Luxury Group portfolio.

This service sets the Luxury Group apart by ensuring every aspect of their guests’ travel experience is smooth, swift and enjoyable.”

While the package is complimentary for those staying in select suites, all guests staying at participating Marriott hotels will have access to exclusive rates for Blade Airport and Blade Ground Connect car transfers, inclusive of all room categories – giving every guest a chance to take to the New York skies this summer.
