Regent Seven Seas Cruises has just revealed a new Spotlight Voyage from its continued partnership with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One team, this announcement signifies the next phase of the collaboration between the luxury cruise line and the Formula One racing team. Specifically tailored to be the ultimate cruise for Formula One fans, the voyage will be setting sail in summer 2025 and hosted by ex-Formula One driver Pedro de la Rosa.
Alongside de la Rosa, during the 10-night Mediterranean cruise — which is set to commence on July 22, 2025 — there will be current members of the Aston Martin Aramco team, including engineers and executives. In addition to members of the Aston Martin Aramco race team, the highly popular road car branch of the business, Aston Martin, will also be represented. Employees of the luxury road car brand will be delivering several workshops regarding innovation and design.
The route will journey along the coast of Spain, from de la Rosa’s home city of Barcelona to Valencia and on to Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca. The ship will then head east to Marseille and Sanit-Tropez in the South of France, before heading south down the coast of Italy and calling at Monte Carlo, Monaco as well as Portofino and Livorno, before finishing in Rome’s port Civitavecchia.
As this is a Regent Seven Seas cruise, travelers can expect the highest level of service on board, while once-in-a-lifetime moments will be a daily occurrence.

At the journey’s heart will be the voyage itself aboard the Seven Seas Splendor. The trip will hit all the elevated marks that guests can expect from a Regent Seven Seas trip, with the addition of exclusive Aston Martin Formula One elements.
As a veteran of more than 100 Grand Prix races, those on board will be invited to intimate Q&A sessions with de la Rosa. “I am thrilled to host this exclusive Spotlight Voyage aboard with our friends at Regent and even more excited to be sailing from my hometown of Barcelona,” said de la Rosa – whose role also includes team ambassador at Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team.
Additional members of the Aston Martin Formula One team will also be conducting masterclasses, meet and greets, workshops and panel discussions.
At the voyage’s various ports of call, partners are creating driving and motor-racing-themed experiences. Monaco is likely to be a true highlight as travelers see iconic classic car collections, including Prince Rainer’s, before experiencing the legendary Monaco Grand Prix circuit itself. Of course, there will also be a luxurious lunch and time for an aperitivo, before guests head back to the ship via helicopter.
While on board the ship, guests will have plenty to do. An absolute first for the partnership between Regent Seven Seas and Aston Martin Formula One, a full-size replica of an Aston Martin Formula One car will be on the ship, allowing guests to get a closer look at these impressive machines.
There will also be a high-tech race simulator, letting passengers test their own skills behind the wheel of a Formula One car.
Food and beverage options are also getting the Formula One treatment with ‘Race Day’ themed dishes and cocktails, in addition to deck parties and a variety of merchandise in the ship’s boutique.

Taking things a step further, Regent Seven Seas is also organizing additional opportunities for guests before or after the voyage if they are so inclined.
In Barcelona, guests can add three days and four nights to their excursion with walking tours and visits to traditional restaurants, before taking a drive around the Montjuic Historical Street F1 Racetrack. There’s also a scenic helicopter excursion and an elevated farewell dinner before travelers set sail.
Those looking to extend after the trip in Rome can choose to add four nights and five days to their adventure. Journeying from Rome to Bologna, guests will experience the legend of Enzo Ferrari in Modena before a stop at Imola Racetrack. During the trip, there will be stops at vineyards to taste the wares and a farewell dinner after a variety of Ferarri and Pagani experiences.
Tickets for this voyage start from $8,449 per guest, with some shoreside experiences at an additional cost.
