Calvin Klein’s new face brought French elegance to the City of Angels on Saturday.
Actor Jeremy Allen White, acclaimed for his role in FX’s The Bear, attended the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards in L.A. over the weekend in style. The leading man wore a creamy YSL suit over a white button-up with black boots for the occasion, but his Tiffany and Co. jewelry is what took the refreshing look to the next level.
The Tiffany Bird on a Rock brooch that White sported was created by French jeweler Jean Schlumberger, with this version using a 13-carat diamond, platinum, 18-karat yellow gold, an array of smaller diamonds, and a pink sapphire. The original setting for the piece was designed in 1965 after Schlumberger encountered a yellow cockatoo. And of late it has become a staple in menswear on the red carpet, donned by the likes of Jay-Z and Michael B. Jordan.
To outfit his wrist, White stuck with Tiffany’s, wearing the brand’s Cocktail 2-Hand, a 25.6 x 42.4 mm watch that’s crafted from 18-karat rose gold. Its oval-shaped design places a white guilloché dial at the center, which is topped by black Roman numerals and encircled by round brilliant diamonds along the bezel. An identical 21 x 34 mm version can be yours now for $15,500. It offered a feminine touch compared to the watches other actors wore to the awards this weekend.
White’s showing at the SAGs was yet another victory both artistically and stylistically for the young actor. Last month, Calvin Klein launched its Spring 2024 campaign that starred White. He wore five underwear styles from the brand’s latest collection, with a photoshoot that set the internet ablaze. The campaign dropped in the lead-up to White winning the Golden Globe award for Best Actor in The Bear. The series, created by Chris Storer and co-starring Ayo Edebiri, was green lit for a third season back in November. With how well crafted the first two seasons of the series have been, we shouldn’t be surprised if we see White gracing red carpets again this time next year.
