First Look Inside Park Hyatt Los Cabos Residences – Elite Traveler

Los Cabos is hardly short on luxurious hotels and regal residentials, but when this stretch of Pacific coastline is home to some of Mexico’s best restaurants, served alongside cliffside views of both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, its popularity is hardly surprising. In the last year alone, this stretch of Mexico’s Pacific coast has welcomed the likes of Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol, Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos and Rosewood Residences Old Lighthouse. That said, don’t think that muffles our excitement to hear another hospitality-heavy hitter is pitching up on the Baja Peninsula; since that certainly wasn’t the case when we heard Park Hyatt will soon be calling Los Cabos home.

Slated to open its doors in early 2025, Grand Hyatt Los Cabos will stretch across 1,200 acres within the Oleada Pacific Living & Golf private resort community, a mere 15 minutes west of  Cabo San Lucas and 30 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport. Along with 163 guest rooms and 88 suites and a world-class 18-hole golf course, what really piqued our interest was the news that the world-class resort will also be the site of Park Hyatt Los Cabos Residences at Cabo Del Sol, the first Park Hyatt branded residences in Mexico

Eight residences and 11 villas have come to market from Park Hyatt Los Cabos Residences at Cabo Del Sol, built to encourage carefree living in Los Cabos for those visitors looking for a more permanent stay in Mexico’s Baja California Sur. As one of the development’s signature properties, Villa 8 is a five-bedroom, five-bathroom villa made to maximize the indoor-outdoor lifestyle that living on the Pacific Coast is all about – all while Park Hyatt’s luxurious amenities and facilities lie at your fingertips.

Designed by Mexico City-based architect Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos (SOMA), the villa’s organic and minimalist design uses soothing colors and natural materials to blend the elements of the ocean and desert that surround the property. While the standouts of the property are undeniably impressive – from the residence’s huge outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi to its master suite that features an indoor/outdoor shower – meticulous attention has been paid down to the smallest touches, such as the locally crafted wood and hand-carved stone tables, or the state-of-the-art Wolf and Subzero kitchen appliances.

Of course, if they can bring themselves to leave the home’s more than 2,500 sq ft of outdoor space, the property’s future owners will find Park Hyatt’s world-class amenities at their doorstep, including access to the Cove Club Golf Course designed by Jack Nicklaus and The Tom Weiskopf designed Cabo del Sol Course.
