Dolce & Gabbana Launches Gurney’s Montauk Takeover

This summer, the Italian Riviera is being transported over the Atlantic to the Hamptons with the launch of Dolce & Gabbana’s Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa takeover.

Marking the label’s first beachfront residency in the US, the pop-up invites guests at Gurney’s to indulge in a lavish beach club-style experience in one of the nation’s most exclusive regions.

Open from now through Labor Day, the takeover will see Dolce & Gabbana transform the hotel’s Beach Club and East Deck, with the azure hues of the brand’s signature Blu Mediterraneo print adorning loungers, umbrellas and cabanas.

Guests will also be able to sample Mediterranean-inspired light bites and signature cocktails, all to the soundtrack of live entertainment.

“We are thrilled to bring the Dolce & Gabbana lifestyle to Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa in the Hamptons this summer,” said Michael Nenner, president & COO of Gurney’s Resorts. “Our vision is to create a luxurious and immersive experience that celebrates the essence of summer fashion, the Hamptons lifestyle and the beauty of Montauk’s coastal landscape.”

Naturally, it wouldn’t be a Dolce & Gabbana pop-up without the chance to indulge in some retail therapy. A new shopping destination will launch as part of the takeover, exclusively selling a selection of ready-to-wear clothes, home decor and beach accessories.

The launch of Dolce & Gabbana’s Gurney’s Montauk takeover comes at the same time as the commencement of the Italian brand’s DG Resort project at Sardinia’s Hotel Cala di Volpe
