Following the success of the first permanent Dior spa aboard the Royal Scotsman, A Belmond Train last year, Belmond has expanded its luxury partnership with House of Dior to launch an all-new Dior spa on the Eastern & Oriental Express, A Belmond Train.
Marking the first Dior spa in Southeast Asia, the spa will take up the entirety of one of the train’s 16 coaches. The carriage will comprise two dedicated treatment rooms and a spacious reception area.

Like previous iterations of the Dior x Belmond spa, the Eastern & Oriental Express, A Belmond Train wellness space will be outfitted in the French house’s signature Toile de Jouy print in shades of light green, while simultaneously taking inspiration from the surrounding landscapes via the use of handcrafted furniture in tropical wood.
Guests can choose from a menu of five personalized treatments, each carefully created by Dior’s team of wellness experts. Several of the therapies take inspiration from traditional Asian health and wellbeing principles, such as the D-Jungle treatment, which targets specific energy points via deep massage and stretch techniques, and the Kobi-Dior Facial Treatment which incorporates ancient Japanese Kobido facial massage practices to reveal a radiant glow.

Before and after their treatments, guests are invited to visit the calming reception space to shop signature Dior products and indulge in a number of fine teas and light bites to complete the experience.
The addition of a dedicated wellness space ups the ante on the Eastern & Oriental Express, A Belmond Train’s luxurious itineraries, which relaunched in February 2024. Currently offering two seasonal journeys, the train departs from Singapore and takes in the very best of Malaysia’s scenic landscapes via a route that passes through the likes of Penang, Langkawi and, for the first time, the Taman Negara National Park.
