Automobili Pininfarina has just delivered to a client what it is describing as its “most unique commission to date”, the Battista Reversario. This one-of-a-kind commission was inspired by both the Batista Anniversario — which the client also owns — and the concept of balance.
The Batista Reversario is set to be defined by its color scheme, which is the inverse of the heritage-inspired color scheme that was utilized on the Batista Anniversario. On the Reversario, the lower body is finished with Bianco Sestriere gloss while the upper is coated with Grigio Antonelliano gloss.
The iconic pinstripe has remained unchanged, running the length of the vehicle and separating the white and grey tones with a precise and delicate line of vibrant blue, what Automobili Pininfarina calls its signature Iconica Blu.
Reversario is also dotted with bespoke inscriptions, further adding to this commission’s unique nature, such as the ‘Reversario’ nameplate that is displayed both forward and ‘in reflection’ on the carbon side wings and underside of the active rear wing.
The interior is given a similar treatment, the racy bucket seats are lined with white-on-white Alcantara quilting, accented by a perforated background in Iconica Blu. The rest of the interior is done in black aside from several accents, such as the cupholder retainer and seatbelts, which are also finished in Iconica Blu.
In addition to the exquisite one-of-one Reversario, the client also received a three-piece luggage set, specifically designed around their lifestyle. Comprised of a briefcase, weekend holdall and suit bag, each piece is finished in black leather and trimmed with Iconica Blu edging.

“Reversario was the ultimate commission,” says Dave Amantea, chief design officer at Automobili Pininfarina. “Taking inspiration from the original Anniversario, it is a reflection in every aspect, using a timeless combination of colors to create an opposite that works alone and together. This is a vehicle that is the greatest expression of our ‘dream cars, made real’ philosophy to date.”
Battista Anniversario made headlines when it was launched in 2020, 90 years after Battista ‘Pinin’ Farina founded the historic Italian coachbuilder and design house.
With all the same specifications, Battista Reversario is, like Anniversario, the ‘most powerful road-legal Italian car ever made’. This hyper-GT uses a 120 kWh battery to power four independent motors, one for each wheel.

Thanks to its power and launch control technology, the Battista has a 0-60mph time of just 1.79s. However, as a grand tourer, this extraordinary hypercar is capable of impressive speed in a luxurious vehicle that drivers want to drive.
The client who now owns both the Anniversario and one-of-one Reversario said: “These twins are and forever will be associated with love perfected. The twins can never be separated because they are truly unified in design.”
