Mandarin Oriental Launches First Private Residence in Abu Dhabi

In a city where the skyline seems to evolve daily, it takes something truly extraordinary to stand out – and Mandarin Oriental’s first private residences in Abu Dhabi aim to do just that. Situated in the prestigious Saadiyat Cultural District, this collection of 226 exclusive homes, developed in partnership with Aldar, is poised to become the newest coveted address in Abu Dhabi’s most sought-after neighborhood.

Launching for sale on November 21, 2024, with completion expected by 2028, the development by Aldar and Mandarin Oriental combines cutting-edge design by Bjarke Ingels Group with interiors by Lillian Wu.

Think expansive terraces, natural materials and organic contours that shape tranquil, light-filled living spaces. Step inside to find grand chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling windows and interiors designed with meticulous attention to detail. Kitchens are crafted for entertaining, master suites offer serene retreats and every element is thoughtfully considered to blend comfort with sophistication.

And then there are the amenities. Residents will enjoy an on-site Mandarin Oriental Spa, a private dining room, a theater and even a cake shop. Add in private chefs, concierge services and chauffeured cars, and it’s clear this development has thought of everything – so its future residents don’t have to.

The views are as enviable as the homes themselves. Overlooking the Zayed National Museum and with easy access to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the incoming Guggenheim and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, the residences place you at the heart of the city’s cultural hub.

Mandarin Oriental’s Group CEO, Laurent Kleitman, echoed this excitement, saying: “This development harmonizes the refined elegance and legendary service of Mandarin Oriental with a vibrant cultural environment that is uniquely Abu Dhabi. Together with Aldar, we are creating a residence that offers not only a prestigious address but also a gateway to the cultural richness that defines this extraordinary district.”
